| Description | Koolyangarra Preschool is an Aboriginal based preschool in Walgett, which is located in western N.S.W. Established in 1974 as a save the children fund preschool for Aboriginal children and then renamed Koolyangarra Aboriginal in 1990, we and are currently licensed for 25 children per day, are a long-standing Early Childhood Education Centre in our community. Koolyangarra Preschool provides high quality Early Childhood education for children from 3-5 years of age. We offer programs that are well-suited to each child’s individual needs, strengths and interest and deliver a school readiness program for the children that is in line with the National Quality Framework for early childhood education - Belonging, Being & Becoming - The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia Hours: We are open five (5) days per week, Monday to Friday, 9am till 3pm and Friday 9am till 1pm. Our 4-5 year olds on Monday to Wednesday and the 3 – 4 year olds attend on Thursday and half day Friday School terms |
