|Description|| The Office of Institutional Research (IR) is dedicated to helping the University achieve its mission through research, reporting, planning, and assessment activities. We value the well-being of our University and surrounding community and work with the B.C. Institutions of Higher Education, employees, students, faculty, administration, and the public to meet their information needs. IR will provide prompt, reliable, and respectful service to its constituents. We value open and clear communication and are dedicated to the development and application of individual skills and abilities through collaborative efforts. We recognize the place of research in education and at the University and we value the integrity of information and its representation.
The Office of Institutional Research will support the mission of the University through the achievement of the following goals:
To provide accurate, timely, and official information.
To be a resource of expertise in research, assessment, and planning.
To conduct or coordinate appropriate and necessary studies that contribute to a better understanding of Capilano University students, programs, and the larger community.
To continually review and improve skills, knowledge and processes, and to use appropriate technology to enhance the services we provide.
